  • Our condolences to the family. Stafford was one of a kind. We were roommates at USU for three years and had great memories. Camping, hiking and just a bit of partying. It was Staff, Spaff and Spum. RIP my friend. You’re in a place where the fish always rise, you never hook a shot and the sunrise and sunset is spectacular. Give Cody a hug for Debbie and I.

  • There are some people who come through our lives and leave lasting impressions and wonderful memories. We shared several but for some reason one really sticks out in my mind and that’s where I remember your smile. I was heartbroken to hear you had taken the step into another journey but grateful for the times we shared. RIP my friend. You’ll be greeted by the way too many that went before you and the party will be huge! <3

  • I am fortunate enough to have developed very genuine friendship with Stafford for the past 25 or so years.
Before leaving to the Virgin Islands we skied, he taught me how to fly fish on the upper Weber ,i truly loved the man. When he returned from the Caribbean ,which was a total surprise attack , our friendship continued like he had never left. We did discuss mortality , his feelings were that when you have a great life and when its time ,it’s time.

  • My sincere condolences. I worked one season at JANS Deer Valley during the winter of 1992-1993. Stafford was my manager. I always remember him laughing and with a SMILE on his face. While he often gave me a hard time, it was always in jest. Prayers for peace and comfort during this difficult time.

  • Staff is a guy from high school that I can never forget. He had an infectious smile and a welcoming hand. He protected me on one of the worst nights of my life. We reconnected through Facebook and enjoyed a couple of great conversations when he returned to SLC last year. Too young. Too soon. Keep smiling Staff.
