Jerry was a wonderful friend and a great and valiant servant of God.  We will always remember his friendship, talents, wisdom and the loving friendship he gave to us.  We know that he is happy and pain free now, but he will be greatly missed here.  WE love you Jerry and Anu.  May the Lord's sweetest blessings of comfort be with you and your family.  What a blessing for you to have Jerry as your husband and father.

To my dear Anu,  We are so sorry to realize that your Jerry passed away so suddenly.  It is still such a shock to all of us in the neighborhood.
    We will miss him so very much, but want you to know how much we love you, and we want to be close to you during those long, lonely hours ahead of you.
    Thanks for letting me have a small part in paying tribute to him in music.

We loved Bishop Jerry Hirst.  He had such a tremendous influence for good and such a strong powerful testimony. We loved hearing him speak and loved reading anything he wrote. We love you Anu and the soft kind-hearted person you are.

Dear Anu and children,  I am so sorry for Jerry's passing.  He was such a good example and loving husband, father and grandfather to all who knew him.  Although we know he is in good hands, we know you and the children will miss him deeply.  My prayers are with all of you over the next several months as his absence sinks in.  Your faith will be your strength.  I send you all my love and support.

I was saddened to hear of Jerry’s passing.  I have enjoyed the brief times we have spent in his presence and hearing the many reports through Paul of his activities.  How he will be missed.  It is a comfort for all who mourn his loss to know the truth of God’s plan for this life and the life beyond.

 

May the God of Heaven send his healing spirit to comfort and sustain you and your family through this sorrow-filled time.
