Spencer Larkin

Vice President

Spencer was born in Salt Lake City and grew up in Sugarhouse. He attended Highland High school and the University of Utah where he obtained a bachelor in accounting degree and later returned to the Executive MBA program graduating in 2008.

Spencer currently serves as the COO/Vice President and oversees all of the Funeral and Preplanning operations for the Larkin companies. He began working with Larkin on a full time basis starting in 1997; he worked in many different areas leading to his current role some of which include: fleet manager, accounting clerk, assisting families in need, making funeral arrangements, and overseeing all accounting, finance, and human resources until he stepped into his current role in 2007.

Spencer currently serves the Salt Lake community through his numerous service positions. He is an executive committee member for the Catholic Community Services Board of Directors. He sits on the advisory committee for St. Vincent de Paul Community Dinner. He is the vice-chair for the Intermountain Homecare board. He serves as member of the Community Advisory Board for Intermountain Donors. He is a member of the Salt Lake Rotary Club serving on the Education Committee. He sits on the Advisory Board for Caring Connections: A Hope and Comfort in Grief program as well as being called to serve on Homesteaders Life Company’s Advisory Panel.

Spencer is married to Twig Larkin and they have 5 children, whom he loves spending time with.
