RIP Great Uncle Dale. ❤️
You will forever be missed. I am thankful for the memories we shared. I will never forget at our family reunion back win, in Utah, Chelsea after spending some time with you saying to me and my mother,”I wish I had a grandpa like him”speaking about Uncle Dale! And sadly, she never will. What an incredible, kind and Extremely loving man!
Wish I could be there for the services. Please know that we are there in spirit😘

I can’t think of a more kind and outgoing gentleman. He was always happy and sincerely friendly every Sunday when I ws working with him at the State Prison.

My heart breaks, however, I can see the joy he has being free from the pains of life. There are truly to many memories to speak about. As a family we had lots of fun being with Sheryl and Dale camping and playing games. My kids first words, after hearing of his passing, were the times he tucked them in. Like a sardine! Such special memories I will always cherish! And anyone that knew Dale knew what great hugs he gave. He is the only other person on earth, next to my own father, that made me feel like the most magical person in the world. His words of encouragement will stay with me forever. As a family, we want to express our love and gratitude for having the Butterfields fill our lives with joy and happiness!! Love you so much Dale and Sheryl – words can not truly express how blessed we feel!

Dale Butterfield is a giant in friendship and kindness. Having worked with him at the prison and seeing his love for everyone was a wonderful sight. He is loved by all who came in contact with him, both the residents of Promontory and those who served with him there. We love you Brother Butterfield and will miss you! Gods speed to your wonderful wife and family. Until we meet again.
