We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweetheart, Emily. Although we didn’t know her, we have always thought the world of you, and know that she must have been an exceptional person.
Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Ones, Carolyn, J. D., and Frank and Family,
How I loved Emily. I only saw the obituary last night (Mon.) late, and couldn’t read it because I didn’t have my glasses on. When I finally got back to it around 11:00 this morning, I found that I had missed the viewing and funeral. I would so have loved to pay her the tribute of being there with you all.
She was with us at the Jordan River Temple when Elder Backman was President and I was the Matron. She was sweet and dear and was filled with the Spirit of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Whenever you met her, you felt her love. There was no one serving in the temple who was more worthy, more loving and kind. She was part of the spirit of the temple. I also loved her because she was the daughter of my dear friend who I admired and loved, and the sister of my precious and beautiful Carolyn. Emily was so sweet and pure that I am shedding tears of grief over her as I would over someone in my own family. I loved her dearly. What a lovely gracious person she was. I send my love and deep sympathy to all of you who loved her and will miss her the most.
