They made their home in Sandy, Utah where they together owned and operated Artistic Iron for 12 years.

She loved camping with her family, cake decorating, sewing and crocheting. She crocheted many items for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When she wasn’t crocheting items for her family, she crocheted hats for those in need.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was currently in the Sego Lily Ward where she served in many positions over the years and was most fond of being the ward librarian.
