How we loved Ken and Karla. They were wonderful friends and neighbors. Who can forget their beautiful garden and generous friendship? I remember when Ken became ill and your mom called me. I went right over. She was worried, but had great faith in the Lord to do the right thing. Now He has and they are together. We can’t be there in person, but are certainly there in spirit. I was planning on seeing your mom in a few weeks when we get to Salt Lake. But I know she knows how much we loved her. We were fortunate enough to tell her when she was living. Please give your family our love.

Karla was so sweet to all of us. Always quick with a kind word and a big smile.
It has been a privilege to take care of Karla.
Our thoughts and prayers to her family. She will be missed.

40 years ago I started work at Beehive Clothing. There I met Ken Cordery who enthusiastically welcomed me. I worked in the office next to his for 7 years before moving to a downtown location. Ken always spoke so lovingly about his sweetheart Karla. I am sorry for your loss, but I am sure Ken is welcoming her with a big hug.

Dearest Karen, Scott, Brad, Janice, family members and close friends,
Karen and I were saddened to see that your sweet Mother has passed away. Your Mom and Dad were always wonderful to us even visiting our home. You might know that we tried to keep contact with them for years and years. WE used to walk with them at the Mall before your Dad passed.
As a teen, I loved being in your home. I loved your parents, and they will forever have a positive influence on my life as the whole family has. Ken and Karla are such angels. Karla was/is gentle, kind, gracious, supportive, and loving. Hard to find a cheerleader in life as wonderful as her. We express our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies. We hope that knowing that there are countless lives that Sister Cordery influenced for good will give you joy and comfort. We live in Mesa, Arizona, and are scheduled to be working in Southern CA. and will not be able to attend your celebrations of life–but please know we will be thinking of you. May Heaven bless you during these times of transitions with peace and an assurance that “all is well”. We love your sweet Mom.
