  • I remember Lee as the commander of the TAC Squad and I wanted him to pick me to induct into the squad, he didn’t take me, but instead I was chosen to go into the traffic Division. Little did I know it would have such a profound effect on my life. I always enjoyed talking to him, and was always amazed at his ability to make a deputy feel good, and understand what he needed to do . Great man, and a good friend. He will be missed by anyone who knew him.

  • Time passes so quickly and we are saddened by the fact that we have let time pass by without keeping better contact with the Crebs family.
Our life and experiences from 1971 thru 1984 is filled with wonderful memories of Barbara, Lee and their kids.
Lee Crebs is one of the most influential people that I met as a deputy sheriff . he is the best example of what any community should look for as the guy to look to for protection, leadership and ethics. I never witnessed Lee use his position to better his position our hold his rank as superiority. In our eyes he is a giant amongst the cops I have met in my career.
We pray that he is now free of pain and is waiting to greet and lead the rest of us as we move on.
May God bless Barbara and the kids and their spouses and kids and bless you with the knowledge that we will all see Lees wonderful smile once again.

  • We enjoyed visiting Lee and Barbara many times. Lee was always interested and had a positive attitude. He struggled with his health for the last few years, but never let that define him. He was a people person. Prayers for Barbara and her family.
