Mera Rudelich, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother passed away in Bountiful, Utah, on January 2, 2019.  Mera is now reunited with her loving husband, Anthony.

Mera was born and raised in Provo, Utah, and was the youngest and last survivor of five children born to Adelbert and Marguerite Pack.  She was athletic in her youth and participated in many clubs and activities growing up.  She always felt that her family was her greatest priority and accomplishment.  She was a fabulous matriarch!  Mom was able to travel to many places during her life which included many countries in Europe, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Mexico, Canada, the Holy Land, and many States including her favorite, Hawaii.

Mera is survived by her sons Lane (Kathy) and Jan (LeAnn), and her daughters Christine (Allen) Parkin and Dana (Ron) Guertin, and fifteen grandchildren (Christopher, Natalie, Amanda, Summer, Nick, Noel, Priya, Michelle, Tyler, Brian, Anthony, Michael, Chelsea, Caitlin, and Aaron), and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed, but we are comforted in knowing we will be with her again.

“A happy life is not one filled with only sunshine,

but one which uses both light and shadow to produce beauty.”

We love you, Mom.

Services will be held at Larkin Mortuary (260 East South Temple, SLC) January 7th at 11:00 a.m. with a short viewing at 10:30 a.m.  Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
