Cameron Wagers, age 53, tragically passed away while doing what he loved, surrounded by friends who cared deeply for him. Cameron was born on November 21, 1972, in Norfolk to Judith Ann Wagers and Johnnie Lee Wagers.

Cameron is survived by his loving wife, Mindy Wagers; his children, Luke Wagers and Layla Wagers; his mother, Judith Ann Wagers; his in-laws, Dale and Sharon Rhodes; his brothers-in-law, Bryan Miller, Dale Miller, and Danny Rhodes; his Aunt Shirley Cross; and his beloved dogs, Jesse, Daisy, Enis, and Cooter, along with many extended family members, friends, and people whose lives he touched through his kindness and generosity. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Lee Wagers.

Cameron was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He had a huge heart and genuinely loved helping people whenever he could. Known for his humor and quick wit, Cameron had a way of making people laugh no matter the situation. He brought light and energy everywhere he went.

He had a lifelong passion for cars and loved modifying and working on them. Cameron was also a talented self-employed excavator whose creativity and vision were reflected in every project he completed. His workmanship and attention to detail were admired by those who knew his work.

Outside of work, Cameron loved the outdoors and had a special love for animals. Whether he was spending time outside, working on vehicles, or helping someone with a project, he lived life with passion, creativity, and generosity.

A celebration of Cameron’s life will be held at Larkin Mortuary - Riverton on May 30th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come casual and join in remembering the laughter, kindness, and unforgettable spirit Cameron shared with everyone around him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
