Carole Fidler Bush

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and lifelong resident of Grantsville passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026 at the age of 80, after an 8 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Carole was born on March 26, 1946 Salt Lake City, Utah

Daughter of Merrill Fidler and Marjorie Fidler.

She was raised in the close-knit community she loved and spent her life building lasting friendships everywhere she went. Her spunky personality, strong attitude, quick wit and caring heart made her unforgettable to all who knew her. At just 15 years old, Carole married Larry Hugh Allen on May 27, 1961. Together they built a family and welcomed four children. Following Hugh's passing, Carole married Lynn Bush May 24, 1989. Their love was strengthened through their sealing in Salt Lake Temple November 19, 2004.

Carole was an accomplished singer, she often performed with her dad, loved music, cooking, knitting, quilting. Her favorite callings were a primary teacher and relief society president. She was a devoted and active temple worker for many years. She could communicate fluently with just a wink and a smile. She had the gift of gab, loved talking to anyone, never met a stranger. She was instantly the person who people would gravitate to in any room.

Carole was a hard worker throughout her life and held many roles over the years. Including several positions at the Tooele Army Depot and the Tooele County Housing Authority.

Above all, Carole loved her family fiercely, she will be remembered for her strength, resilience, laughter, smile and the way she made people feel welcomed and loved. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, hard work and kindness that will continue through the many lives she touched.

Carole is survived by her husband, Lynn Bush; brother John Fidler (Christine); four children: Larry Allen (Jeanne), Lisa Worthington (Mike), Bret Allen (Angela), Monica Miller (Jay); 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Carole was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister Virginia.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the care givers at Our House Assisted Living and Memory Care of Tooele.
