We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Clint Jacob Turner, age 18, on July 18, 2026. Clint passed from his earthly home to his heavenly one surrounded by the love of his family and in the arms of his parents. He has bravely endured the many tragic symptoms of Battens disease throughout his short life, and we are thankful he is no longer in pain and experiencing such discomforts. We are taking comfort in the knowledge that a very joyous reunion is taking place with his siblings, Ashlyn and Davis, who’ve preceded him in death.

Clint lived at home with his parents, Jarom and Tina Turner, as well as his older brother Brock, in Herriman Utah for the past 7 years. Most of his active growing up years were spent in Quincy Washington where he had many meaningful and loving relationships. Clint had many fond memories of childhood friends from school, church and community that continued in his heart and memory. In Washington and Utah, Clint truly cherished the many opportunities he had with Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. These many relationships brought his immense joy and added a richness to his life that couldn’t be matched by anything else. Clint had an especially close connection to his grandmothers. His face lit up when he was with them, and one of his favorite traditions was bringing them a bouquet of flowers on Valentines Day.

Clint was the light of his family’s lives. He was incredibly easy to love, and he formed close relationships with each of his siblings and parents. He and his dad had legendary boxing and wrestling matches each night for years. One of Clint’s greatest desires in life was to one day be big enough to beat his dad for real. His eyes would sparkle with anticipation when he thought about this future event.

Even as he got older, Clint would still cuddle with and climb on the laps of both his mom and dad. Clint and his mom would read dinosaur books together for hours, watch favorite shows together and visit the library often. He rarely missed a moment to tell her she was beautiful and give her lots of kisses.

We all enjoyed the many dinosaur battles that Clint put on over the years complete with dinosaur sounds and commentary.

Clint and his brother Davis bonded over a shared love for McDonalds and UFC fights. When they were younger, Clint had fun riding around on Davis’ back and talking Davis into reaching the candy that was too high for him to get.

Clint’s love and tenderness towards his sister Ashlyn is legendary. He would comfort her when she wasn’t feeling well, surprise her with small gifts, and give her plenty of hugs and kisses. They would famously sing songs from the movie Frozen together as he pretended to be Olaf and she, Anna.

Clint and his brother Brock were the very best of friends. From sharing a room together for years to countless hours riding bikes to trying to see who could come into the house covered in the most dirt after a long day of playing outside. They explored together, had inside jokes and a language all their own. Brock took the very best care of Clint, especially as he started to decline and we are so proud of the big brother he was to him.

Clint was magnificent. His energy couldn’t be matched. He was a little bit wild and full of sunshine. He loved hard and would grit his teeth as he hugged someone. He laughed with abandon and had the very best sense of humor that kept everyone around him in stitches. He played hard all day. He loved his books and his toys and his favorite shows. He was vivacious and full of zest for life. He was extremely protective of anyone he cared about. He’d fight tooth and nail one minute and forgive and forget the next. His heart was tender and pure. He loved animals and always treated them with great care. For these and many more reasons he will be missed by his family tremendously.

Clint had great faith in his Savior and knew he would live with him in Heaven. He also knew Jesus would heal him of his disease. He spoke frequently of the time Jesus would help him see again after losing his vision at age 5. We know he is in heaven jumping for joy at his restored sight.

We thank the many people who have made Clint’s life better for being in it. We also have great appreciation for the many medical professionals who have assisted us in his care.

There will be a private service held for Clint on Monday July 27, attended only by immediate family members. We know there are many people who love Clint and we appreciate your understanding at this time. We sincerely thank each of you for your continued love and support.

For those who wish to honor Clint, meaningful donations may be made to Make A Wish and Rare Sisters Batten Foundation in Arvada, Colorado. Donations to Clint’s family can be made via Venmo. (@Tina-Turner-95).

Thank you for your love, support, and prayers as we remember and celebrate Clint’s incredible life.
