Gray Richard Zarogoza, age 16, of Herriman UT passed away on Monday, May 18th, 2026. Though his time here was far too short, Gray left a lasting impact on everyone who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Gray’s life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Larkin Mortuary - Riverton in Riverton, UT with a short service followed by a gathering until 8:30 for all to celebrate his life and their relationship.

Gray was born on November 10, 2009, in Riverton, Utah, to Jason Zarogoza and Poppy Insixiengmy. From an early age, he was known for his kind heart, steady presence, and the positive energy he brought into every space he entered.

He found joy in the time he spent with family and friends, and he especially valued simple, everyday moments shared with the people closest to him. Gray loved playing soccer, training at the gym with his mom and dad, listening to music, and spending time with his friends and teammates. These activities reflected his love for connection, movement, and being part of a team.

Gray loved the simple joys of life and the memories he created with his family. He looked forward to family vacations to Disney, enjoyed attending Bee’s baseball games, and loved playing with the dogs. These moments reflected the fun-loving and caring person Gray was.

Gray will be remembered for his loyalty, compassion, and the deep love he showed to others. His joyful spirit and easygoing nature made him approachable and comforting to be around. He was genuine, respectful, and thoughtful, with the ability to bring positivity into any room. His smile—bright, sincere, and full of warmth—left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Gray is survived by his father, Jason Zarogoza; his mother, Poppy Insixiengmy; his brothers, Alexander Insixiengmy and Brandon Huynh; his sister, Mylinh Huynh, and his nephew, Ronin Provost. He is also survived by his uncle, Rick Zarogoza; cousins Hunter, Zoey and Carter; grandparents Evelyn Zarogoza Baker and William Baker; Oune Insixiengmy, along with many friends, teammates, and loved ones who will miss him deeply. He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Thone Insixiengmy and his fur buddies Sam and Ruffles.
