On June 7, 2026, Eva Jeannette Jacobsen Irvine-Fullmer lost her battle with Leukemia, but not without a very strong will and a valiant fight all the way to her final breath. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Jeannette was born December 10, 1942, to Orson H. and Eva M. Jacobsen. She was the eldest of her siblings: Carol, Darrell, Donna and Randy.

She attended Elementary through High School in the Granite School District. She graduated from Granite High School in 1961. She also attended Salt Lake Community College and Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She married Lance N. Irvine on July 7, 1962, and together they had five beautiful children: David N., Shawn M., Katherine, Rebecca and Donna. She became a widow when Lance passed away on July 28, 1991. Much later in life, she rekindled her love with her High School sweetheart, Robert “Bob” Fullmer, only after he became a widower as well. They got married on July 8, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Unfortunately, she became a widow again when Bob passed away on February 2, 2026.

Jeannette worked 15 years in family day care out of her South Salt Lake City home, and 22 years with Kearns Saint Ann’s in the extended day care. Jeannette worked along-side her sister, Donna.

“I send my love to all my students that touched my life” -Love Jeannette-

She has been and active member of Saint Ann’s parish in Salt Lake City, Utah and Saint Anthony of Padua in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Darrell (her brother), Lance (her first husband), Donna (her daughter), Robert (her second husband), Vanessa (her granddaughter), Jeremy (her grandson) and her beloved dog “Dottie” and many more pets.

She is survived by her children: Dave (Jacquelyn) Irvine, Shawn Irvine, Kathrine Irvine, Rebecca Irvine; siblings: Carol Jacobsen, Donna (Dan) Orgill, Randy (Michelle) Jacobsen; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many, many students.

The family would like to thank the very special nurses who took care of her at Summerlin Hospital, Ray, Mel and Doug, whom Jeannette unofficially adopted as her other children.

“We love you Mom!”

“Until we see you again.”
