Jesus Flores

With deep love and fond remembrance, we announce the peaceful passing of Jesus “Jesse” Flores, on September 17, 2026, in Sandy, Utah. Jesus was a devoted son, brother, husband, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was the eldest of six children—two daughters and four sons.
He was lovingly sealed to his cherished wife Aurora Flores, along with their five children, in the Los Angeles Temple on June 6, 1970. This sacred ceremony strengthened the eternal bonds of love that united their family.
Dad was a great man who loved deeply, showed kindness, exhibited a steadfast work ethic, served others, and enjoyed life. He was devoted to his family, who were a constant source of pride and joy. He was known for his friendly smile, warm personality, and willingness to lend a hand to those in need. Our father was a faithful man who loved the Lord and the gospel of Jesus Christ. He spent many years faithfully serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found great joy in serving others.
Dad had a deep appreciation for nature. He had a special love for vibrant flowers, towering trees, and the endless blue skies of Utah. He was fascinated by the clouds, often spending quiet moments simply admiring their ever-changing form. Long drives with mom, filled with the wonders of the landscape and stories shared along the way, were among his most cherished moments.
Dad also loved to joke around, especially with his grandchildren. He would talk to them, listen to their stories, and make them laugh. He delighted in their company, sharing in their laughter and creating bonds that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. The joy and laughter he brought to family gatherings remain treasured memories for all.
Dad was a gifted self-taught craftsman, skilled in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and mechanics. He was often found at a family member’s home, repairing, building, or figuring out how to make something work. He generously shared his time and talents with family, never hesitating to lend a helping hand.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Aurora Flores; his 5 children, Aurora, Linda, Daniel, Sally, and David; and his siblings, Ignacio, Jose and Rosa. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carmen, and his brother, Lino.
Jesus “Jesse” Flores leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, faith, tireless dedication, service, joy, and family devotion. Though deeply missed, his spirit lives on through the cherished memories and love he gifted to all who knew him. We love you, dad.
