Kathy Ann Vallee

Kathy Ann Vallee, age 68, of Magna, Utah, peacefully passed away in her sleep from natural causes on August 2, 2026. Kathy was born June 18, 1958, to William Valtinson and Wanda Claflin in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1976.

Kathy married Jon Vallee in 1983; they were married for 39 years before his passing in 2022. Together, they raised six children, and she spent much of her time being deeply involved in her children's lives. She spent time as a substitute teacher at Lake Ridge Elementary and was always volunteering to help during field trips and activities as her kids attended school there. She enjoyed horseback riding, scrapbooking, cross-stitch sewing, reading, and singing. She loved being in nature and going to the coast. She had a very strong faith in God.

Kathy is survived by her six children: Brad Vallee (Bree Vallee), Corina Vallee, Angela Zook, Mike Vallee (Micaela Vallee), Jon Vallee II, and Rebecca Vallee; seven grandchildren: Madeline Vallee, Ashlynn Vallee, Malachi Shepersky, Makhi Vallee, Micah Cothran, Eve Cothran, and Hushai Cothran. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great pride in the family she worked so hard to raise. She was a beautiful soul who loved to spend time with her family and made sure her kids were raised with love. She is loved deeply by our family and was the glue that held our home together. She was our world, and she will be so profoundly missed by our family.
