Kay Lorraine Jackson was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 9, 1934. She passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 91.

Kay was the beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Jackson. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and countless cherished moments. They were blessed with three children, Debbie, Robbie, and Todd, and five grandchildren, Mandie, Mat, Mitch, Alex, and Alycia, and 10 great grandchildren, Sydney, Connor, Jordan, Caleb, Sawyer, Cooper, Brynlee, Kennedy, Marshall, and William. Joy was Kay’s beloved sister.

Beyond being an amazing mother and wife, Kay worked as a secretary nobody could type faster.

After retiring, Kay and Bob made Yuma, Arizona, their winter destination, where they enjoyed many happy years together golfing. Golf became much more than a past time for Kay and her family. It was a way to bring everyone together, creating bonds and memories that will continue to be treasured.

Kay was also an avid reader. She always seemed to have her nose in a book, happily disappearing into another story. She had a special love for classic old movies, a passion she shared with her family and passed along with them. Many family members came to appreciate these beloved classics because of Kay.

Above all, Kay will be remembered for the love she gave her family and the many simple, meaningful moments. She shared with them her laughter, interests, stories, and the traditions she helped create will live on in the heart of her children, all who knew and loved her.

Kay leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply and carry her memory with them always.
