It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, Kevin Gary Johnson. Kevin passed away unexpectedly from natural causes at the age of 62, leaving his family and all who knew him heartbroken. His loss has left an immeasurable void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him.

Kevin was a kind, caring, and hardworking man who always put his family first, especially his beloved wife, Holly. He married Holly Ann Groneman on November 24, 1984, and together they built a life centered on faith, love and family. On April 6, 1989, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple, a sacred blessing that meant so much to both of them.

An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kevin lived his life with faith, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve others. He loved the outdoors and found peace and joy in nature. Throughout his life, he worked as a skilled meat cutter and later became a licensed private investigator. He had a true passion for investigative work, and his profession provided him with countless memorable experiences and stories that he loved sharing with family and friends.

Kevin had a wonderful sense of humor and could make people laugh even during the toughest times. His quick wit, unforgettable laugh, and playful pranks always brought a smile to everyone’s face and are just a few of the many things that made him so special. He touched countless lives with his kindness, love, generosity, and laughter, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Kevin is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Holly Johnson; his children, Tyson Johnson, Brittnie Benson (Jordan ), Gavin Johnson (Kaylee), and Cole Johnson (Kelly); his mother, Cheryl Johnson; his brother, Rodger Johnson; his sister, Christy Carlson; and his six cherished grandchildren.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Gary Kervin Johnson; his father-in-law, Holley Blaine Groneman; and his beloved grandparents.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that families are eternal and that Kevin’s legacy of faith, love, laughter, and devotion to his family will continue to live on through those he leaves behind. His memory will forever be cherished, and he will never be forgotten.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, kindness, and support shown during this difficult time. Your compassion has brought comfort as we celebrate Kevin’s remarkable life and the eternal impact he has had on all who knew and loved him.
