Linda Mae Park Mast

Linda Mae Park Mast—beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister—passed away July 21, 2026, peacefully at her home at the age of 80. Born on May 1, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Linda was the youngest of three children of Robert and Edna Park. From the very beginning she carried a gentle brightness that stayed with her throughout her life.

Growing up in Salt Lake City, Linda’s spirited nature blossomed. She was active in her high school pep club and graduated from Granite High School in 1964. It was during those formative years that she met the love of her life, Ronald (Ron) Mast. They married on May 20, 1965, beginning a partnership that would span more than six decades, recently celebrating their 61st anniversary. Together they built a life filled with devotion, adventure, and everyday joy.

In 1968, Linda and Ron welcomed their son, Christopher (Chris) Mast, who became the pride of Linda’s heart. In 1974, the couple built their forever home—a place Linda cherished deeply. It was within those walls that she raised Chris, created countless memories, and lived the remainder of her life surrounded by love.

Linda was a woman of many passions. She found joy in hiking, jogging, golfing, and creating stunning stained glass pieces that reflected her artistic eye and patient hands. She and Ron shared a love for travel, especially in their motor home. Together they explored 26 states, journeyed to Prince Edward Island, and traveled through Alaska and Canada, taking in the beauty of the world one mile at a time. These adventures became treasured chapters in their shared story.

Beginning in 1993, Linda and Ron spent their winters in Arizona. In 1999, Linda discovered a home in Cave Creek that immediately captured her heart. They purchased it, and Linda filled that home with her signature warmth and beauty. She took great pride in both of her homes, each lovingly decorated and infused with her unmistakable touch.

Linda’s love extended beyond people—she adored dogs all her life. Her home was always filled with the companionship of her beloved pets, who remained faithfully by her side until her passing.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Mast; her son, Chris (Paula) Mast; her two grandchildren, Gabrielle Mast and Michael Mast; her great-grandson, Kellin Payne; and her brother, Bob (Renae) Park.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Edna Park, and her sister, Janet Park Raby.

An open house gathering honoring Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, August 1st, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at:

A light lunch will be served as family and friends come together to share memories, laughter, and love.
