Lynda Bridge, 84, of Sandy, Utah passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026. She was gracious, kind, thoughtful and embraced everyone she ever knew and met with a very gregarious and positive attitude.

Born on August 7, 1941 in Richfield, Utah, Lynda was the beloved daughter of Richard Alfred Ward and Della Marie Zufelt. After graduating from East Carbon High School in 1959, she moved to Salt Lake City to attend LDS Business College. With a college degree in hand, Lynda started her career with Pacific Intermountain Express (P.I.E.) Trucking Company then went on to work for Cottonwood High School in food services and ultimately as an Optometrist Assistant at Standard Optical in the Cottonwood Mall.

Lynda was an adventurous spirit and loved to recreate outdoors; camping, fishing, riding motorcycles, golfing and spending time with the love of her life Lowell (married for 64 years) and her three children. Lynda and Lowell loved to travel and vacationed around the world including trips to Australia, New Zealand, China, London, Europe and cruising in the Caribbean. Back in Utah, they never missed an opportunity to spend time with their children, grandchildren, family, neighbors and friends.

Lynda is survived by her sister Marie Fratto, her daughters, Kristi Bell and Shauna Brown(Trevor); son, Brian Bridge(Tiffany); Grandchildren, Chandler Brown, Gabriel Brown, Aimee Bell and Brandon Bell; Great Grandchildren, Malakai Hutchison and Azriel Hutchison.

Lynda is preceded in Death by her husband Lowell Bridge, her parents, her brother Richard Douglas Ward and Randy Bell (son-in-law).

A life celebration will be held from 10am – 12pm on Saturday, June 6th at the Larkin Sunset Mortuary. Interment will be at 12:15pm at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy, Utah.
