Marvon Hugh Holdaway

Marvon Hugh Holdaway, age 74, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at his home in Sandy, Utah.

He was born on October 10, 1951, to Marvon Holdaway and Audine Clark Holdaway. A dedicated and hard-working man, Marvon began his career at the Salt Lake Chevron Refinery in 1983, where he provided 28 years of loyal service before his well-deserved retirement.

Marvon’s greatest legacy is the family he leaves behind. He is survived by his beloved wife Ilene Holdaway, his sons Wade & Cody Holdaway, his four grandchildren Zackary, Wade Jr., Ben, and Ivy-Jane, and his brothers Duane Holdaway, Steve Holdaway, and Randy Holdaway.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvon and Audine, and his sister, Brenda Holdaway.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Marvon's memory and the time shared with those he loved.
