Cherished & loving; Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-GrandMother. Mary Lamb (89) passed away on August 7th, 2026 due to a stroke.

Born Sept 28th, 1936, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Erwin & Erna Gallinat.

Mary was an only child.

She lived and worked on the family farm, which is now Village II Apartments in Taylorsville.

Mary married R. Glenn Lamb October 28, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
(They were married for 67 years).

Survived by her three children; Sherrie (Kenneth) Rupp, Clark Lamb, Connie (Victor) May, sister in law S. Pauline Lamb. Also survived by nine (9) grand children (Melissa, Tyler, Ashley, Heather, Justin, Alan, Sterling, Gavin & Lacey) and twenty (20) great grandchildren (Boston, Steele, Luke, Brayden, Ethan, Logan, Bret, Cody, Rocky, Clare, Ashton, Gabriel, Noah, Timilynn, Taylee, Tessa, Hadley, Jesse, Cayden, Brooks).

Preceded in death by her husband & parents.

Mary enjoyed reading, studying her scriptures, gardening, baking, long rides in the mountains, vacations, and time with family.

Like Dad, Mom also loved her candy.
Especially (chick o stick, old fashion candy & big hunks).

Her & Dad really loved and cherished Christmas when the kids & grand kids were young. They became like kids themselves.

To end each summer, Mary & Glenn took many fun vacations to some of their favorite places: Yellowstone & Jackson Hole Wyoming.

Mary deeply loved and prayed for each member of her family fervently.

She would take every chance she could to share the gospel of Christ with all those around her.
Anyone who had an open ear to hear.

Mary always lived her life as a faithful follower and servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She loved the Lord with all of her heart.

And currently attended LifeLine Community Church.

Mary had a very steady hand and worked at OC Tanners, Electro Controls & Spectra Symbol. During her career, she would build circuit boards for stage & medical equipment.

She worked until she was 77 and retired to tend and love on her great grandsons (Gabriel and Noah).

A viewing for the celebration of her life will be held Sunday, August 16th from 6:30-8:00pm at Larkin Mortuary
3688 W. 12600 S.
Riverton, Utah.

A graveside service will be Monday, August 17th, 2026 at 11:00am at Valley View Memorial Park
4335 W 4100 S.
West Valley City, Utah.

There she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Where we know her and Dad are in the arms of Jesus.
