Robin Jane Bennion

June 30, 1955 – September 25,2026

In the early morning of a beautiful September day, Jane slipped quietly from this realm to the next, and into the arms of loved ones already there.

Robin Jane Bennion was born June 30, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jane attended primary and secondary schools in East Millcreek and Sudbury Massachusetts and eventually graduated from Skyline High School. Jane then attended the University of Utah and London College in England,

Jane was a wonderful big sister, always putting us in costumes for plays and parades where she was awarded many awards for her floats. Jane was our champion and inspired the whimsy in all of us and her friends and classmates.

Jane was active in the arts. Acting, costuming, painting pictures and murals, writing a published novel and was a voracious reader. Jane's eye for detail showed in every costume or painting or craft.

We will miss her zany sense of humor and the fun adventures like driving across the country in a station wagon with 6 kids, a neighbor cousin or two, and a pair of dogs. Family trips to Europe and Canada and Northern California were always better with Jane always noticing the absurd and got us all hysterically laughing. We will miss her lead foot and consequent police pulling her over for going 100 mph+

Jane is survived by her son Ben, siblings Gray (Brenda), Kari (Bill), Brooke (Bob), Wood (Nevenka) and special niece Tatum (Riley), nieces and nephews and many family and friends that will miss her dearly.

A small graveside gathering will be Friday, October 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
