July 3, 1958•June 28, 2026
Our beloved wife, mother, and Nana, Tana Marie Sutton (67), returned home to our loving Father in Heaven Sunday, June 28th, after complications that followed a previous surgery. She was with her sweetheart when she passed.
Tana was born July 3, 1958 to Frank and Gertrude “Marie” DeBuono in Grand Junction, Colorado. She met the love of her life Warren “Bradley” Sutton in Grand Junction. They were married December 4, 1982 and later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on February 24, 1987. They were inseparable and a true example of soul mates.
Us three daughters consider her a best friend, a true confidant, and everything a mother should be and more. She was always proud of us and the very definition of an exceptional mother. Mom adored her 12 grandchildren. She played an active role in raising them and they were her pride and joy. They always felt deep love and acceptance from their “Nana”.
Our mom loved her family fiercely. Being with us was her greatest blessing. Whether it be camping, Florida trips, or simple family dinners, she was so proud of her family and happiest when we were all together.
She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1985. Her love of the gospel and her Savior, Jesus Christ, ran deep. Her faith was unwavering and she instilled that in our family. She loved to serve others and maximized each of the several callings she held in the church.
This beautiful lady leaves a legacy of love that her family will always cherish and carry on in her memory. We will forever miss her compassion, her nurturing, and her immense love and belief in us. She was loved beyond measure and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Tana is survived by her Eternal Companion, Warren Bradley Sutton; her three daughters, Alisha (Jeremy) George of Eagle Mountain, UT; Amber Walker of Herriman, UT; and Autumn (Stephen) Brown of Herriman, UT; her 12 grandchildren, Ryan, Sean, Mackenzie, Jade, Rylie, Haylee, Asher, Alayna, Kanyon, Peyton, Courtland and Stetson; and her brother Mike DeBuono. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marie DeBuono, her father and mother-in-law, Warren and Mary Sutton, and her brother Steve DeBuono.
A Celebration of her life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the Harvest Park 3rd Ward, 4501 West 11800 South in Riverton, UT. A visitation will precede services beginning at 9:30 a.m.
