Throughout their years together, they enjoyed traveling, boating, skiing, camping, hiking, and supporting the arts.

Family was always Bill's greatest priority. He enthusiastically supported his children's pursuits and provided them with every opportunity, resource, and encouragement to follow their interests, achieve their goals, and realize their dreams. His grandchildren fondly remember always being able to find "Gramps" in the stands cheering them on, rarely missing a game, performance, or special event. He celebrated every accomplishment with genuine pride and enthusiasm. . In later years, he treasured time with his great-grandchildren, delighting in their personalities, milestones, and achievements.
