Shirley was a homemaker for most of her life only joining the work force after her children were grown and had families of their own. She worked in Salt Lake City at Sperry Univac, until Bill retired. At this time, they were able to travel and had new adventures.

Shirley is survived by four of her eight children, Susan Haight (Tooele), Hazel (Gordon) Henwood (Grantsville), John Haight (West Jordan), and Blaine (Anita) Haight (Bakersfield, CA). 9 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. One brother Clarence (Albert) Levingston (Tremonton) many nieces and nephews.
