On Saturday, November 16, 2019, Tevita Tonga Makave Manu, returned to live with his Father in heaven.

Tonga was born on May 24, 1995 in Rowland Heights, California, graduated from Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah and attended school at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Tonga’s personality was one in a million, with a brightened laughter that brought a smile to everyone in the room. Tonga was passionate in everything he put his heart to, always striving for the best. Tonga took great pride in his job as ramp agent for Southwest Airlines, he loved the airlines and those he worked both in San Jose, CA and Salt Lake City, UT. His dedication and determination earned him the reputation of being a hard worker and a go-getter. When he wasn’t working, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. His most admiral attribute was his charitable heart, always willing to give his all for those he loved. His laughter and love will truly be missed.

Tonga is survived by his mother and father, Ana Tua’one and Maka Aloua Manu, brothers Ulaiasi (Tesa), Isileli, Skylawn and Samanu Falo; sisters Uinise (Tomasi Tuikolovatu), Valencia, Sulia (Cory Aiono); nieces and nephews Pauline, Maka, Viliami, Shane, Ana, Stevie, Susi, Solomone, Pilimilose and Isileli.

Funeral services will be held Friday and Saturday, November 22 & 23. Friday, Rose Park Stake Center 1155 N. 1200 W. Salt Lake City, UT, from 6-10:30 p.m.; Saturday, Riverside Tongan Ward 660 N. Redwood Rd. Salt Lake City, Ut, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
