ReNae Ballard age 70 passed away peacefully on Friday April 10, 2020 at Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 13, 1949 in Salt Lake City to John and Janine Walter.
She was a graduate of Granite High School 1967. She worked as a waitress at the Amber restaurant where she met her future husband Bruce Ballard. After leaving work at the Amber she enjoyed life as a homemaker. In her youth she would visit her family in Montana, helping with the wheat harvest. She enjoyed LDS activities and events with her childhood friends. Every year her family would go fishing at Trial Lake in the Uintas. She married Bruce Ballard in 1974. ReNae Ballard and her husband worked tirelessly together seven days a week. She was a devoted mother and wife, cooking large meals for the equally large family holiday reunions which were cherished by everyone.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bruce Ballard, her brother Doug Walter and her beloved daughter Cindy Lee James. She is survived by her sisters Lori Cook, Corinne Abuhamdy her brother Reed Walter her son David Ballard her daughter in law Lucy Ballard and her grandson Tristin Ballard.
The service will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) on Friday April, 17 2020. Viewing will be at 10:45 graveside service at 12:00.
