  • Our loving wife, mom, grandma, “Ma” and friend Ardith Lenore Tufts passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, April 28th in Bountiful, Utah. She was a true fighter and will be greatly missed by many! Ardith was born June 4th, 1943 in Monterey Park, California to Floyd and Norma Andrews.

Ardith moved to Sandy, Utah in 1962 where she met Morris Tufts, they were married on Feb 8th, 1963 and later sealed in the Temple for time and all Eternity.

She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield until she decided to start a family and become a stay-at-home mom raising their 3 children Allen, Scott, and Kasey.

Ardith had an immeasurable amount of love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The grandchildren are what she truly lived for!

She also had a great love for purses, shoes, Nascar, and football (Dallas Cowboys). She also had a passion for collecting dolls and teapots of all kinds.

Ardith was the most selfless, kind, caring person I know. Not one person who met her could not help but fall in love with her.

Ardith is survived by her husband of 58 years Morris; her children Allen, Scott (Christi), Kasey (Dean). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Norma Andrews; and brothers Ted and Floyd Jr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6th at 2:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held the same day from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM.
