Connie M Park Curtis passed away peacefully on July 16, 2021. She was born on June 30th, 1933, to John and Margaret Park and was the 3rd child of 10. She had many fond memories of her childhood and remained close to her siblings throughout her life.
She was married to Darrell B Curtis in June of 1953 and raised 2 sons Scott and Alan. In the second chapter of her life, she began working as a Secretary for State Farm Insurance where she excelled and made many good friends.
Connie was very talented and had many interests. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook and seamstress. Some of her best and most remembered dishes were Chicken Rolls, Fried Rice and Chocolate Éclair Cake. The grandkids have great memories of her buttermilk pancakes after a sleepover and the epic Easter egg hunts. She made a lot of crafty holiday decorations for everyone, loved gardening, and would decorate and redecorate her home both inside and out. She also loved watching old movies and the Utah Jazz.
Connie was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with her family and friends. All who knew her came to love and adore her. She was an inspiration to all. She will lovingly be remembered and missed but not forgotten.
Preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret Park, 3 brothers: Richard, Gary, and Kent, 2 sisters: Lois and Margie, husband Darrell, son Scott, and grandson Mitchell.
Survived by 2 brothers, Ron, and Doug (Penny), and 2 sisters, Colleen and Joan. Son Alan (Cindy). Daughter-in-law Jackie. Grandchildren, Bryan (Shana), Malinda (Robert), Carina, Amanda (Dustin), Dan (Danielle), Kelly and Jeffrey (Jordan). Great-grandchildren Edyn, Chandler, Atalia, Aliana, Audrey, Grayson, Daphnee, Tucker, Quinten, Mollie, and Spencer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 30th, 2021, from 6-8 pm at her home. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South.
