Visited almost every battle site of our countries Civil war. He was quite the Jokester… Love to hear and tell jokes. Truly believed that laughter was the best medicine.

Curtis was a tremendous “Foodie”. Enjoyed his roots of Southern cooking and there was never a bad hamburger or hotdog that couldn’t be eaten.

Curtis was a gracious and humble man that was raised during the depression, worked hard to become a successful Exploration Executive in the Oil and Gas industry. He loved his “Oily’s as he called his friends, team, and his counterparts. He would always say, “I am a Proud “Oliy” myself. Curtis drilled for oil and gas throughout the Western, Midwest, and Eastern U.S. as well as offshore oceans and seas.

Rod and Lisa, Gregg and Pam, and Jake,
Honesty, integrity, love of country, and love of God were just a few of Curtis guiding principles and some of this rubbed off on every one he came in touch with and we all are better for knowing him. We love you guys. Stan and Cathy
