Daniel Taufagu, 47, of Sandy, Utah, passed away on July 20, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He was surrounded by his wife, 11 children, his granddaughter and many family members. Daniel was born on March 26, 1974.
He was born in American Samoa, son of the late Jimmy Taufagu and Maletina Pio. Daniel was of Adventist faith.
He was a loving, dependable and loyal man who was known for his hard work ethic.
He loved traveling and enjoyed spending time outdoors barbequing with family. He was a blessed man who will be missed greatly by his loving family and many friends.
Survived by his wife of 25 years Hope Sofai Ripley Taufagu, children Jacob Thomas Taufagu, Chasity Maletina Taufagu, Watson Taufagu Ripley, Daniel Michael Reese Taufagu, Joseph Jimmy Taufagu, Christian Selesetino Taufagu, Briana Ruthie Taufagu, David Nathaniel Taufagu, Samson Sakopo Taufagu, Maselina Taitiana Taufagu, Missy Tina Taufagu, grandchild Reagan Luana Taufagu, siblings David Taufagu and Fur Princess Sofia "Little Dog" Taufagu.
A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy, UT followed by a reception at Le Jardin at 2:00 PM Sandy, UT.
