Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away, at home on February 14, 2021, at the age of 82, after battling cancer.
Dorothy married Robert (Bud) S. Barman on August 10, 1957, they have three children. She loved camping, gardening, playing billiards with her family and friends, water fights on the 24th of July, and dressing up for Halloween. She graduated from East High School in 1956. Dorothy worked in the automotive industry for 35 years as a Warranties Administrator. She retired, at the age 80, from Ken Garff’s. Dorothy loved the holidays and spending time with her family. She lived life to the fullest.
Dorothy is survived by her husband: Robert (Bud) S. Barman, three children: Dixie (Dave) Colson, Thomas Barman, and Robert D. Barman, granddaughters: Samantha and Kelsie, two great granddaughters, sister: Bonnie Townsend, brother: Kenny Barker and brother-in-law: Bill Brew.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents: Lynn and Ruth Barker, brother-in-law Bob Townsend, and sister-in-law: Alma Brew.
Dorothy will greatly be missed by her family and friends, and those that were touched by her loving spirit.
There will be no funeral service at this time.
