He was our hero and he will be missed very much.

Preceded in death by his wife and son Keith Wayne Peck. Services for immediate family only with a celebration of life later.

Ken was a pool buddy, an inspiration, sweet spirit, and often joined our little group for breakfast at various locations around the city. We really enjoyed hearing his stories and tales of adventures. My condolences and best wishes to your family during this difficult time.

I knew Ken through the pool breakfasts done once a month and organized by Nancy Sakahara. He was very impressive to me. Frequently people would stop and say hello to him. One man thanked him for serving his country during the war! I’m certain to remember him.

Ken was my Cops League baseball coach in 1960 and 1961; in 1961 he coached us to an undefeated season sponsored by Lovinger Company. He made it easy to relate to police officers, as all of the coaches in the league were officers and the umpires were firemen! He spent endless hours with us at the games and practices and I will always have fond memories of him and how he contributed to me becoming the citizen that I am.
