Frances was born on March 30, 1922 in Riley, Kansas to Frank and Iona Pearl Hassebroek Dallinga. She grew up on the family homestead, until that was lost at the time of the depression, at which time they moved into Riley. She met and married Jesse Joesire Smith on February 2, 1941, in Hutchinson, Kansas. In 1945 they moved their family to Salt Lake City. Together, they had 3 boys, Gerald Franklin, Larry Bernard and Michael Wayne. Frances was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting.
Frances is survived by her two sons; Gerald (Peggy), Michael (Diane); daughter-in-law, Shala; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as her brother, Bernard (Jeanne) Dallinga. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse; son, Larry, one grandson and two great-grandsons, as well as her two sisters Inez Hirsch and Lola Heller.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd; where a viewing will be held from 11:30-12:30, prior to the services.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Frances' passing. She had a long and wonderful life. We will miss her dearly. Sorry we can't be there to say goodbye.
