The Lord called Robert Glen Augason home on April 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 7, 1942 to Glen Dilworth Augason and Eva Margaret Rosenlof Augason in Murray, UT. Sealed to Lorrain Robinson March 1, 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised 5 beautiful children.

Bob loved to travel. His favorite place to travel was the southwest desert and red rock canyons. He was a member of Skyline Jeep Club and developed a lifelong passion for off-roading and roads less traveled. On any given weekend, you could find him on the South 40 in his Rhino or Jeep. On those weekends, one of his favorite activities was cooking hotdogs on an open fire with his family.

He was a master builder, designer and sales executive. Bob built and designed their dream home where he later passed away. There was never a time he did not have a project.

Bob is survived by wife Lorrain, children Wendy, Paul, David (Debbie), Catherine, and Michael. Grandchildren: Mandy (Justin Clarke), Raechel (Garrett Crosby), Dakota. Alexandra, Gavin, Ashley, Madison, Taylor, and Kyler. Great grandchildren: Jax, Brixton, Ryden, Remy, Lily Ann and Grant Robert.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Interment will take place on Friday at 12:00 noon at the Teasdale Cemetery. Guestbook/Condolences

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Bob many years at PT. I always loved his warm smile, fun laid back personality, love of the outdoors, commitment to Lorrain and family. I can hear his mischievous giggle now. Love to you Lorrain and your family.

So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. We enjoyed many years as home teaching companions and members of the Union 17th Ward.
Bob was always available to help and loved to be working on his cabin in Teasedale.
My condolences to Lorrain and their family. Bob was a good man!
