Samuel Edward Jones Jr, passed away on May 30, 2021 at the age of 52. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 16, 1969 to Samuel Edwards Jones and Geraldine Carter Jones.
He attended West High School and studied Security Management at the SLCC.
Samuel was proceeded in death by his father and step-father. He is survived by his mother Geraldine Carter Ware, his siblings, Angela Harrell, Reggie, Tony (Troyleen) and Shayne Wilson.
He is also survived by his Aunt Dot, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Sam expressed his fondness for his best friends Curtis, Mona, Delores, Mickie and others.
Many thanks to Lori Holder for her case management service and kind friendship she gave Sam. In the last few weeks of his life-ending journey, Sam expressed that he found peace with God. The family would like to thank the care-givers of the Huntsman Cancer Center, the Utah Medical Center in Sugarhouse and The Inn Between Hospice Center, for the loving care and support they gave Sam.
A private family viewing will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E S Temple, SLC, UT 84111.
We are deeply saddened by the loss and our deepest condolences to Sam's family, he was an amazing person and a great friend, and we are going to really miss him.
Sam was a good friend with a hart of gold . A smile that could make you smile even on your worsted day . He will be missed and loved. Are Prayers go out to his family at this time.

Sam was one of best friends growing up and had seen him in years. Unfortunately I found through my brother of his passing. Sam was an great guy and I'll miss him.my deepest condolences go out his family.
