Suzan Nash Maio was born on April 18, 1949 in Franklin, Idaho to Lyle Nash and U-Vonna Winward. She married Terry Maio on June 27, 1970. Together, they happily raised four children. She is the proud grandmother of nine.

Suzan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was selfless--ALWAYS putting others first. She enjoyed spending time with her family and getting games, activities, and presents ready for countless family celebrations. Suzan was extraordinarily thoughtful in everything she did. She lived a life full of service to others. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and loved.

Suzan is survived and loved by her husband of nearly 51 years, Terry; her four children Anthony (Amber), Amy (Michael), Erica (Eric), and Joseph; and nine grandchildren Abigail and Michael, Jillian and Juliette, Calista, Kayla, and Kalli, and Colton and Ambree; and her siblings, Beverly McDonald (Kelly), Larry Nash (Linda) and David Nash (Chris).

A graveside service, limited to family members, will be held on Tuesday, April 20, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South Valley (13001 South 3600 West, Riverton, Utah). The family wishes to thank the countless nurses and doctors at the Riverton Hospital Infusion Center and the LDS Hospital Loveland Clinic who cared for her during her five-year battle with leukemia.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society using the link to the right of the photo at the top (Family's In Lieu Of Flowers).
