  • Judith Karren Chatwin passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born April 2nd, 1939 of loving parents Ellen and Wilford Roberg, she had 8 siblings, having an adventurous and eventful childhood. She later married J.R. Chatwin, her soulmate, in September of 1961 in White Pine County, Nevada. They built their lives around their children contributing and volunteering in the community. They were both heavily involved in baseball with their children and neighborhood. She was religious in her own way, teaching her family the value of prayer. She loved collecting stamps and coins, working on puzzles, playing cards, and being with her family. She was the best mother her kids could ever ask for, the best wife to share a life with, and she will be dearly missed.

Judith is survived by her sister Dora Hill, sons Keith, Troy, and Joseph Chatwin; her daughters-in-law Phala Chatwin and Adrina Chatwin Ullibari and her grandchildren Gage, Kacelyn, Christina, and Jordan Chatwin, Charlisa Thompson, and Joshua Denison. She was preceded in death by her parents Ellen and Wilford Roberg, and daughter Teresa Chatwin Denison.

A viewing will be held in her honor on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple from 2:30-4:30 PM. We invite those who would like to join us to park and enter through the east entrance. A graveside will be held at Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 North ‘N’ Street, beginning at 5 PM (Plot R-34-15-4E), where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
