  • Tyler was born at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT on April 23, 1998, to his parents, Cammie (Baker) Arnoldus and Mike Dalpiaz Jr. He returned to the Force on Friday, October 15, 2021. Tyler was a loving husband, brother, cousin, son, grandson, friend and was deeply loved by all who knew him. He married the love of his life Alaina (Hansen) Dalpiaz on June 8, 2019, where they lived in Herriman, UT with their fur baby Yankee.

Tyler was a lover of all things geek and sports. He loved Star Wars, Marvel, Dr. Who among many other science fiction shows and movies. He was a New York Yankees and Utah Jazz fan through and through. Everyone knew his passion for the Yankees as you would always see him in his favorite Yankees hat; that was never washed and would never be replaced.

Tyler was an adventurer, his family travels took him to California, Washington DC, Nevada, West Virginia, Florida, Maryland, Arizona, Iowa, Alabama along with many other places. He had a love of all things Disney, he enjoyed visiting both Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts throughout his life with family, and friends. He loved southern Utah where his Grandparents (Mike Sr and Garnette) lived in Helper, UT. He had a passion for photography and enjoyed many trips through Arches and Canyonlands National Parks photographing the beauty of southern Utah.

He loved to ROCK! Some of his favorite bands were Metallica, Def Leppard, Queen, and Paramore (just don’t make fun of them).
Tyler is survived by his wife Alaina, mother Cammie, father Mike, stepfather Steve, siblings Michael III & Rachel (twins), Logan, Anthony, Mason, grandparents, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Tyler was preceded in death by his aunt Jeana, aunt Jennie, brother-in-law Kalen and loving grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 am - 12:30 pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Larkin Sunset Gardens Le Jardin, 1910 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to his wife’s Venmo @Alainadalpiaz.

Tyler and his family would like to request that attendees wear their favorite baseball (preferably NY Yankees), basketball (preferably Jazz), sports hat, pin/pendant, science fiction, or comic book attire.

I met Tyler when we were both in 7th grade and we remained very close friends throughout our years at crescent view middle school. I was quickly drawn to his kindness and how he genuinely cared for everyone around him. We loved to talk Star Wars, new happenings at Disneyland, Doctor Who, and I could always rely on a smile and a laugh whenever we talked. I have a lot of fond memories of Tyler and he will be dearly missed. Rest In Peace, old friend. I’ll never forget you

Tyler will be missed and never forgotten. I met and worked with Tyler at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. He took his job seriously all the while treating all with dignity and respect. His attention to detail and knowledge of his job was second to none. Although I only knew Tyler a few short months, his friendship, I will be forever grateful. Godspeed!

    - Todd Rasmussen

I didn't know Tyler too well, I knew him through Rachel. But the handful of times I met him I could tell how kind of a person he was, I also never heard anything but good words about him when I heard about him from Rachel, and I'd always wished him happiness. This is a tragic loss, I sincerely hope Tyler is at peace and my heart goes out to all of his family and friends.
