  • Wilma was born in the year 1936, in Thompson Falls Montana, to William and Lovella Howard. Throughout her life she lived in Fallon Nevada, St George, Salt Lake City, Farmington, and Roy Utah. She graduated from Dixie College and attended the University of Utah.
    In 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah she married the love of her life Myron Gail Potter. Wilma was an accomplished Landscape artist and sculptor. Her artwork was exhibited at the Shadow Mt. Gallery in Jackson Hole Wyoming and she was accepted at the Dixie Invitational in St. George. She was also a member of the Great Basin Artist Association. Her artwork has been purchased and sent all over the world. Wilma was a contributing member of Nature Conservancy, Audubon Society and the LDS Church.
    Wilma spent as much of her time as she could traveling with Gail and especially loved Hawaii and camping in their motorhome. She loved holidays and birthdays and making them special. Easter at her house was always magical.

    She was proceeded in death by her father William Howard, her mother Lovella Howard, her one true love Myron Gail Potter, Sister Cherie Heaton, Brother Dayne Howard, and Brother-in-law Milt Gisseman

    Wilma is survived by her Children; Gailene Hooper (Jon), Lori Monson (Kevin), Myron Potter (Martina) Lisa Lopez (Marcos) Brothers, Matt Howard (Janice) Jim Howard (Janet) her sister-in-laws; Helen Howard, Midge Gisseman, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

    There will be a viewing Friday January 21, 2022 at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E 10600 south Sandy,Utah from 12:00pm-1:45pm. Wilma's funeral service will begin at 2:00pm
