  • Wolfgang Uhrhahn with his family by his side entered eternal life on January 19, 2021 freeing him from his battle with neuropathy, at the age of 84. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany on September 28, 1936 to Johann and Luise Uhrhahn. Wolfgang attended college in Frankfurt at Berlitz University. Emigrated to the United States with his mom and sister in 1954, where they settled in Salt Lake City. He met Karin Nitz and together were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1958. They enjoyed 64 wonderful years together.

While in Salt Lake Wolfgang started in real estate. This is where he grew his love for construction and built his own business in general contracting, Uhrhahn Construction and Design Inc. Wolfgang was always active and enjoyed the outdoors. During his freetime he loved water skiing, snow skiing, hiking, tennis and played for the Alemannia soccer club. After retiring he took pride in growing his own orchard filled with a variety of fruit trees and berries.

Survived by his wife Karin; one loving son Rodger; daughter-in-law Diane; granddaughter Vanessa. Preceded in death by his parents Johann and Luise Uhrhahn; sister Vera Uhrhahn; and grandparents Herman and Christine Haug.

A viewing will be held on Monday, January 25th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by graveside services at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy.
