To the Harris family: I will never forget the many wonderful times I had with your dad and his great sense of humor. We all had great times growing up together and I have such fond memories! Rest in Peace big Bill!!

Sorry to hear about Bill. He baptized me while he and Minnie were on their mission here in Yarmouth NS. I love ❤️ them both and I’m glad their together again. My wife Lorna sends her love also. I’m so glad I called around Christmas because it had been a long time. We spoke for about a half hour. The Lord blessed me that day. Sometime after he baptized me he said “you could be Branch President someday”I called to him to let him know I had been called. I’ll never forget them and I hope to see them someday .
Love to you all. Thanks for sharing them with us. Wish I could be there.

What an amazing man he was! What a great read about his life. I never had the pleasure of knowing him, but I do know that his son, David, is a great man who had much influence in my life, and I can see that he was raised by a great father. I pass my love to the family, and hope you find peace.

Dear Harris family,
Our family has many fond memories of your Dad and all of you.
I had the opportunity to serve with him as YW pres while he was Bishop. He loved the youth and wanted the best for them.
Of course we always think of your Mom being there by his side.
Our Cannon 8th ward was wonderful. It gave all of us a good start in life.
May you carry wonderful memories with you as you continue you life with out the presence of your parents. It’s amazing how we feel their presences from the other side of the veil. The Gospel is a sweet gift that helps us through these difficult times.
