“Without integrity nothing works”
Nick was born in Salt Lake City, the son of Robert A. Jr. and Robyn Jensen Larkin. He is a sixth-generation funeral director and has been working in the family business as a funeral director since December of 2009. Nick graduated from Highland High School in 2004 and in 2013 graduated from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service with his Mortuary Science Degree.
Nick displayed many talents within the family business by contributing to areas such as The Rose Shop, Rocky Mountain Monument and Vault, development and construction of Le Jardin event center, as well as the fountain structure at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery. He has years of experience working closely with families in preparing funerals and assisting with preparing loved ones for their journey.
Nick has always had a love of serving others and developed a passion for this industry after experiencing the deaths of a very close friend and that of his own daughter. He understands the grief that losing a loved one can bring about and is dedicated to help others through this delicate time.
Nick married the love of his life Melissa. Together they have 5 children Paul Robert, Ava Rose, Hope Melissa (deceased), Oliver Neil, Elsie Sue, and four four-legged family members, Puma, Hannah, Kato and Luna. He is a devoted member of his faith and enjoys serving in the callings which he has held and currently holds. Nick and his family love the Halloween and Christmas holidays, camping with family and friends in the mountains, and being able to spend as much time with family as possible.
Nick looks forward to the many endeavors ahead of him and finds satisfaction in contributing to the family business and building community relations. He takes pride in the care and respect that the family has offered for the last 130 years in the Salt Lake Valley and is committed to carry on this legacy.
