Christine Francom - Larkin Mortuary Staff Profile

Christine was brought up in the Salt Lake Valley. She received her Associate Degree from Dixie State College where she served on the Inter-Club Council and with other organizations on and off campus. After graduating, she went on to attend Utah State University. She enjoyed a lot of Aggie ice-cream (perhaps too much) and served on the Student Education Council board. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education with two minors in Social Science and Literacy. Christine taught in the Murray, Jordan, and Canyons School districts in Utah and Mesa School District in Arizona. She cherishes many fond memories of her hundreds of students and is delighted whenever she has the opportunity to see them, even many years later. She was awarded “Teacher of the Year” in 2012.

Christine changed careers and considers herself privileged to assist with the special work of the Larkin team. She is passionate about meeting with families to help as they work through the arrangement process during a difficult time in their lives. She has lost loved ones herself -- young and old. She understands the deep sorrow in a loss of any kind and comprehends the depth of grief. Christine feels privileged to assist families to achieve whatever they envision to honor their loved one. She especially loves the opportunity to accompany the family through the entire process and to arrange and direct all aspects of the final event according to their desires. Christine grows close to the people she serves and considers them to be new friends.

Christine is the proud mother to three talented daughters and a son who serves in the United States Air Force. She has ten grandchildren, ages 2 to 22 years of age. Christine has served in the Draper Temple for the past eleven years. She is also involved with various community groups and served numerous terms as a State and County Delegate. If there is ever spare time, Christine loves to travel, enjoys good food, playing games, and ALWAYS loves to be with family and friends journeying together along the pathways of life --
