On December 26, 2018, we lost a son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. Casey Scott Draper was born January 28, 1986, in Sandy, Utah. Casey was a beautiful boy with a lovable smile. When Casey entered a room, his presence was always felt. As a little boy, he was content as long as he had toy tractors, trucks, and trailers to play with. As he grew older, he embraced horses and country music. Casey loved overnight camping with family and friends, and he always liked to be behind the wheel---on or off the road, with or without his license. He had a unique talent for putting pen to paper and creating wonderful poetry. We would always see a smile on Casey\s face when he ordered a steak at Texas Roadhouse, one of his favorite restaurants. With his wonderful smile, we know he is now smiling down on us and catching up with his younger brother. Casey was deeply loved, and he will be missed.
Casey is survived by his parents, Cory Draper, and Wade and Carrie Kelson; sisters Randee Kelson Williams (Brandin), Frankie Kelson Hansen (Jorgen), and Shaylee Mischele Draper. He is preceded in death by his brother, Broc Kelson. Casey is also survived by his grandparents, Larry and Cheryl Draper, Mike and Tisa Briggs, and Frank and Teddy Kelson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Friends may join us for a memorial gathering on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E. Dimple Dell Road) in Sandy, Utah, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
