I had the privilege of knowing Alan through the Adult Sunday School at Zion Lutheran. He was engaging and funny, and I loved his comments about his once-a-year haircut. I was fortunate enough to speak with him Easter Sunday. I know he is now wrapped in God's arms, surrounded by light.
