Ann Louise Austin, age 80, returned back home to her Heavenly Father Saturday, July 16th 2022, surrounded by her family.

Ann was born December 8th 1941, in Murray, Utah to Aimee and Armand Walker. On August 28th 1961, she married Bobby Lynn Austin Sr. in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. While raising a family, Ann pursued a career in caring for others and obtained a degree in nursing. She had a very compassionate heart and found great joy in taking special care of her geriatric patients.

After retirement, Bob and Ann moved to Bullhead City, Arizona where you would often find her reading a book, swimming at the pool, shopping at her favorite stores, or enjoying a good Snickers and an ice-cold Coke with lime (although she would settle for a lemon). She lived to eat… especially Chinese food, and a doggy bag could be found in her purse for a midnight snack. Two of her greatest loves were her family and her puppies. Ann was the sweetest person you could ever meet, and she will be missed by so many.

She was preceded in death by her parents Aimee and Armand, husband Bob, brother, and sister-in-law Tim (Jan) Walker, brother, and sister-in-law Larry (Glenna) Austin, brother-in-law Arnie Schuster and daughter Tammy Miyahira. She is survived by her children, Bobby (Nancy) Austin, Monty (Melody) Austin, son-in-law Warren Miyahira, and Wendy (Don) Hanson; siblings Susan Schuster, Robin Walker, and Chuck (Teresa) Walker; 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 25th from 6-8 pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, and one hour prior to services Tuesday, July 26th from 10-10:45 am at the Taylorsville Grove Ward, LDS Chapel, 4845 S Woodhaven Drive, Taylorsville. Funeral services begin at 11 am.

A recording of the services will be available soon.
