Celebration of AJ's Life

The Rock Church, 11630 S 700 E, Draper, UT 84020

Tuesday Dec 10, 2024 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

AJ Leggett, a vibrant soul with an enormous heart, left this life on November 12, 2024. His energy and authenticity touched everyone he met, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all.

A Celebration of AJ’s Life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, from 3–5 p.m. at The Rock Church, 11630 S 700 E, Draper, UT 84020. In AJ’s spirit of individuality, guests are invited to come as they feel most comfortable—whether that’s casual or showing off your best drip and sneaker game.

AJ was a fierce and dedicated lacrosse player for Corner Canyon High School and local club teams, known for his tenacity, enthusiasm, and determination on the field. His larger-than-life personality, sharp humor, and boundless creativity lit up every room he entered. Whether through heartfelt poetry, juggling, or simply being unapologetically himself, AJ brought a unique magic to this world.

He stood courageously for others’ rights, loved unconditionally, and lived with unmatched passion—values that defined him and will forever inspire those who loved him.

AJ will be deeply missed by his parents, Tyler and Sunny Leggett; his sister, Brooklyn; his grandparents, LaMont and Susan Day, Marie Leggett, and the late Charles Leggett, along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and teammates. Though the hole he leaves is immeasurable, his message of courage, love, and passion will guide us every day as we honor his memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made via Venmo @Sunnyleggett to assist with expenses and to establish a scholarship fund in AJ’s honor.

We love you, AJ. Your light will shine forever.

I will never forget riding in the van on the trip to Moab with Tyler and AJ. I had such a great time just talking with him. I feel so lucky to have gotten to meet your amazing son and to get to know him even if it was just a little bit. I am sending you all of my love.
