Obituary Photo for Cheryl Lynn Farmer Paxman

On Saturday, March 10, 2018, our angel, Cheryl Lynn Farmer Paxman, returned home to Heaven after a battle with a very unforgiving cancer.

Cheryl was born December 8, 1948 to Shirley and Doyle Farmer, in Great Falls, Montana, the eldest of 9 children. She married Donald Paxman on June 11, 1982 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had one son, whom she adored.

Cheryl was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served an LDS mission in South Korea. She loved the Lord with all her heart and trusted him and followed his example of love to the very end.

Cheryl earned a Master's Degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University. She worked in the elementary schools for Jordan School District for many years as a guidance counselor. She also worked along her husband and son to build up a successful ice cream and catering business in the local community.

In her free time away from business she enjoyed doing genealogy, church work, and being with her family and friends.

She is loved by all that knew her and were touched by her love, kindness, and generosity.

She is survived by her husband Donald Paxman; son Seth (Lacey) Paxman; light of her life, her grandson Kaladin; mother Shirley; siblings Kathleen, Deborah, Douglas, Richard and Marissa; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends that love her dearly, and we will all miss her greatly. Preceded in death by herfather Doyle; brothers Gerry and Scott; and sister Maureen.
